Photo & privacy policy

Photos

• We post mostly group and action shots, not individual portraits of youth.
• We only post photos of members whose family has given media permission.
• Photos are never labeled or tagged with youth names, and photo files are renamed before posting.
• Photos must show members in appropriate activity attire and following safety rules.
• Location data is removed from photos when they're uploaded.

Names and personal information

• Youth members are identified by first name only, if at all.
• We never publish a youth member's last name, school, address, phone, email or social media.
• The public contact address for the crew is info@venturing312.org, which goes to adult leaders.
• Interest form responses are seen only by crew advisors and used only to contact you about the crew.

Taking something down

If you'd like a photo or any information removed, email info@venturing312.org and we'll take it down promptly, no questions asked.
